Nokia 7’s bigger sibling, Nokia 7 Plus, might be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2018. The smartphone is said to have a 12+13 MP Dual Camera Setup at the back along with a bezel-less screen and mid-range specs.
Nokia’s high-end offering, the Nokia 7 Plus, is coming at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week. Based on Android One, the rumored smartphone is said to have an 18:9 display dual cameras and more.
Originally announced in China back in October 2017, the smartphone got buried until now. With the MWC just ahead of us, Nokia 7 Plus might get to see the light of day.
Design and Display
The Nokia 7 Plus will have an aluminum body with a glass front. Initially, only two colors, White and Black are expected on the phone. Despite the fact that we noticed some exquisite color options in Nokia 8, the upcoming flagship might have to settle for the two mainstream choices.
It will have a 6 inch Full HD+ IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and minimal bezels on the sides. The fingerprint sensor will be on the back, similar to Nokia 8.
Hardware and OS
On the hardware side of things, Nokia 7 Plus will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor with 4/6 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
If the rumor about Nokia 7 Plus being an Android One phone are true, expect the phone to come with AOSP based Android Oreo.
12+13 MP Dual Camera Setup
The Nokia 7 Plus is said to flaunt a combination of 12 MP and 13 MP cameras at the back. Other features include dual pixel phase detection, autofocus, 2x optical zoom, Carl Zeiss optics, and dual-LED dual-tone flash. You can record a stable video at 2160p@30fps.
At the front, we might get to see a 16 MP single lens with f/2.0 aperture. However, it can also record videos at 1080p. These camera features surfaced from a Geekbench post, for the SD 660/ 4GB RAM variant.
Battery and Price
If Nokia somehow nails the pricing for Nokia 7 Plus, it might just put the legendary phonemaker back on the forefront with a killer mid-range offering. No details about the price or the battery have been leaked yet so we can’t say anything for sure.
