Renders for the Nokia 1 and Nokia 7+ Leak Ahead of Launch

Black Nokia 8 flagship Camera Close View

Evan Blass, the industry famous “leaker” and authority on rumors of upcoming smartphones, has released new renders for Nokia phones. The phones include the Nokia 1, the lowest-end phone in the company’s lineup, as well as the upper mid-end Nokia 7 Plus.

Nokia 7 Plus

The Nokia 7 Plus (or 7+), decidedly the better of the two, is said to come with an 18:9 display at the front, being Nokia’s first phone to come with the wider display. It will be available in either Black/White, or a Black with Copper accent.
Specifications are not known as of now, though you can still expect a 1080p display at the very least. The design also features minimal bezels.

A dual-lens camera with a 12 MP and a 13 MP sensor can also be seen on the back with an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner, alongside. The front comes with a 16 MP sensor.
The processor will also likely be better than the previous model’s Snapdragon 630, with rumors pointing towards a Snapdragon 660.
The software will be another major overhaul, with the introduction of Android One. This means Oreo will almost certainly be running on the phone, with a promise of software and security updates for at least 18 months afterward.
The battery also supports Quick Charge thought the exact capacity is unknown.

Nokia 1

The new Nokia 1 will be the company’s first phone to run on the low-end Android Go, which is built for devices between 1 GB and 512 MB RAM.
The design here is not much to write home about, with large bezels on the sides though at its price. It’s decidedly a low-end affair with the absolute minimum specifications possible.
Anyhow, the two phones will be unveiled at the Mobile World Conference at Barcelona later this month, so you don’t have to wait much longer to verify the details.
